Program Sponsors
The FVRR is looking for new sponsors to help with cash or product donations to help reduce the expenses of this award winning program each year. For reoccurring annual donations, your business logo will be placed on our semi trailer. These donations help to maintain all of the equipment used for the FVRR program as well as to help reduce the ongoing cost of this quality program. What school funds are available only help to pay for a very small amount.
See the sponsor page for current sponsors; donating in three levels:
Royal Sponsors $5,000 or more per year (logo on semi & web site)
Sponsors $1,000 to $4,999 per year (logo on semi & web site)
Supporters Under $1,000 per year (logo on web site only)
Sponsor a Member “In Need”
Fall Semester (Starting July)
Each year the FVRR Marching Band & Orchestra is looking for donations to help families in financial need. The current FVRR budget has money set aside to help, however, this is limited. Any amount will help to provide a better education for over 200 students.
Spring Semester (Starting December)
Each year the Color Guard and Percussion student families are asked to help raise or contribute $1,000-2,000 for each to participate in the spring semester to help fund their participation in local competitions, as well as trips to compete in nationwide. Extra staff, uniform cost, air tickets, hotels rooms, food, semi trailer transportation expenses and other needs add up. Donations to our “Members In Need” program will provide more students participating and keeping the cost for all members as low as possible. Individuals and businesses donating in the past have felt the pride, love and excitement while reading letters from members in need giving thanks for these donations to help make their dreams come true. These students work very hard showing much dedication to this art rehearsing and performing while learning a lifetime of skills and memories.
Senior Scholarship Donations
Each year in the April/May timeframe, FVRR provides scholarship opportunities to many deserving senior members. The FVRR Scholarship Committee decides who receives various amounts of scholarship money and the directors also decide the few top students based on dedication, performance skills and total contributions to the Performing Arts during their years in the music program at FVHS. Donations are received each year in memory of former students, parents and FVHS staff that have passed away OR where FVRR has made a significant difference in their lives. A senior will receive a scholarship in the name of these former students, parents or staff at the Spring Show in late April/early May. If more donations are received, more students will receive awards with larger amounts. The FVRR currently award scholarships ranging from $100-$500 each. This can change based on donations each year. This is always a special night for the seniors, staff, students, and loved ones of the former members, parents and staff.
The dream…now a reality; presenting our new 53′ semi trailer. Joe Artinger, interior construction and logos – Gary Wampler, design – Tori and Bill Hammer, contribution coordinators. Bill’s quote at Glover Stadium in 2004, “How come we do not have a semi trailer like these other schools?” Just 3 short years later (2007), the FVRR became proud to have one of Southern California’s finest semi trailers!
Now… our FVRR boosters is looking to find sponsors to help cleanup, re-logo, and update our semi trailer along with our tow-trail the Mini.
