Swallow’s Day Parade

Saturday, March 24th, 2012

Timeline: 

8:00AM – All students arrive at Fountain Valley High School (band room)

8:30AM – Load buses and depart

9:30AM – Arrive at San Juan Capistrano

10:30AM – FVMB goes to parade staging area

11:00AM – Parade Begins

12:00PM – Estimated step-off time

1:30PM – Lunch

2:30PM – Depart San Juan Capistrano

3:30PM – Arrive at Fountain Valley High School (Unload & Dismiss)

FVMB Students:

Please get some rest the night before the parade.  HYDRATE!!!  This is our long parade.  Although there will be plenty of mid-parade water, make sure you prepare by staying hydrated the night before.  Arrive at FVHS fully dressed and with a good breakfast already in your bellies!  There will be a small snack before we go into our staging area, but lunch will not be served until we finish the parade.  FVMB Uniform checklist:  Blue FVMB Polo shirt, black pants (no jeans!!!), long black socks, black shoes. 

FVMB Parents:

Please have your student at Fountain Valley High School NO LATER than 8AM.   Also, make sure that you print and sign the permission slip with your student’s name on it.  FVMB is providing snack around 9:30AM (fruit and water) and lunch at approx. 1:30PM.  If you plan on attending the parade, please plan ahead and get there BEFORE 10AM.  Acjachema Street (main traffic road) will be closed after 10AM.   There are shuttles for your convenience.  Please visit www.swallowsparade.com/parade for maps and information.  If you have any further comments, questions, or concerns please contact me at rudyarevalos@yahoo.com or on my cell at 714-421-8684.
